Designed with Style and Glide in mind, the Classic Glass Series takes ten special Surftech Wood Veneer longboard shapes from the most famous surfboard designers...the Yater Spoon, the Takayama Model-T and a handful of others, and developed a heavier surfboard.

We chose these boards because their traditional shapes will benefit the most from the increased weight. Certain bottom contours and rockers love to sit lower in the water and respond better to the inertia generated by the increased board weight in motion. Smoother noserides, drop-knee cutbacks... you get the idea.

But is not just heavier. We've re-created the vintage Fiberglass-over-wood look in the classic cut-lap style. By adding a ten-ounce fiberglass lamination over the already extremely strong Surftech Wood Veneer composite system, we've created a beautiful classic look with a full gloss finish, gathering all the positive aspects of the heavier weight, beautiful wood construction, world-class shape and superior Surftech technology.
